A set of design for parakeets' health care, including a detachable cage, a weight scale and a camera holder
Visualized Weight Scale for Parakeet

Can we improve a set of auxiliary facilities based on ornithological observation and study, designed to improve the health and longevity of pet birds?

The first thing in this set is a visualized weight spring scale for parakeets, consisting of the scale body and a perch. It's designed to easily and visibly reflect weight changes, not to get people to do a numerical reading. When the bird stands on it, it will lead the perch to pull the spring, which will make the pointer slide slowly along the track and will point to the marker part on the translucent plastic. The spring force is precisely calculated and chosen to be very small and sensitive, while the screw and nuts in front are used to fix the cage between the birdcage wire mesh.
The shapes of markers reference from moon phase. The middle one(half-moon) indicates the normal weight; the full moon shape shows a little overweight and the crescent shape means the parakeet is too light.

Playable Camera Holder inside the Cage

The second product is a playable camera holder which can be located inside the cage. Its shapes and materials are derived from the types of toys parakeets likes: spherical objects, woven objects, and strips. The outermost bamboo net is a layer of replaceable material, and after the parakeets have bitten them off, they can be replaced with new ones. It can be hung anywhere and also can connect to some other toys that parakeet likes.

Modular Parakeet Cage that can be Disassembled into a Carrier

The third one is a detachable modular parakeet cage that can be disassembled into a Carrier. The whole cage is assembled from 9 different pieces of wireframes, 2 connection parts, a base, a base tray for help clean-up, and two middle trays for separating the cage into two parts. In normal daily use, it is an ordinary cage; when it needs to be separated, it is only necessary to insert a tray along the track from the gap in the middle to separate it up and down. Then with a slight push, the upper and lower cages can be separated into two closed cages.
